About 112 kmfrom Jammu, the famous hill resort of Patni-top is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of
2024 m, across which the Jammu-Srinagar high-way passes. Enveloped by thickly wooded forests, patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful alks and breathtaking views of the valley of the chenab basin and the Pir Panjal range beyond.
