The City Palace of Udaipur

The largest palace complex of Rajasthan, 304 metres in height and 244 metres in length was started by Udai Singh and subsequently built upon by later ruler. The main part of the palace is now preserved as the City Palace Museum with a large and varied collection of artefacts. Enter the City Palace Museum through the Ganesh Deari, which leads to the Rajya Angan or Royal Courtyard. The museum is open daily from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Admission Price: adults; childresn between 7-12 (through the Badipol antrance) or (through the Bansi Ghat entreance). There is also a video cam¬era charge of and still camera.
