Indian Airlines/Alliance Air links Jodhpur with Mumbai and Delhi, usually on flights that also connect with Jaipur and Udaipur. While the season from October to March sees two flights connecting Jodhpur to Delhi and Mumbai daily (the Mumbai flight also connects to Udaipur), the summer season (April to September) forces a reduction in flights to almost half.

The Airport is 5 km from downtown. One can use taxis or auto-rickshaws to get to one’s destination in town. Auto-rickshaw fares vary. The Indian Airlines City Office is on Circuit House Road, Near Bhati Cross Roads

Jodhpur : By Rail Jodhpur is on the Western Railway broad-gauge network and is linked to various centres in the region by express and passenger trains. Some important links are those that connect with New Delhi, Agra, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Udaipur, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Train journeys are usually long because of the distances involved, and it is advisable to carry light snacks as most stations en route do not serve much by way of food. Udaipur : By Air Indian Airline and Jet Airways connect Udaipur and Jodhpur, Jaipur, Aurangabad, Delhi and Mumbai. Maharana Pratap Airport is 21 Km from the city and transfer can be taken by a taxi. Journey generally takes 35-45 Minutes.
