Khajjiar By road
khajjiar is connected by road bchamba and dalhousie. It is 24 km from l»th centres along a very scenic and forest-p, though narrow, road. This road passes lor a stretch through the kalatope wildlife anctuary, where it is not unusual to come across a variety of fauna and avian wildlife.
Though there is a bus service to biajjiar from both the main centres, the Khajjiar, primarily, is a place to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains, in its many walks through the forested countryside. Be¬ing within a wildlife sanctuary, it is also a naturalist’s paradise.
However, some other forms of enter¬tainment available here are horse riding and big wheel rides.
