Getting There by Rail
Lucknow is serviced bv the North and North Eastern Railway networks’ by express and superfast trains. One of the convenient connections is Shatabdi Express from Delhi. Direct trains connect Lucknow to Guwahati, Varanasi, Puri, Gorakhpur, Dehra Dun, Allahabad, Ahmedabad, Tirupati, etc.
Trains from New Delhi are the Rajdhani, Vaishali, Neelachal, Gomti expresses and Lucknow Mail. From Delhi are Amritsar-Howrah Mail, Shaheed Express via Gorakhpur and Lucknow Express. Lucknow is linked to Ahmedabad and Muzaffarpur by Sabarmati Express, Guwahati (Avadh and Lohit expresses), to Dehradun and Howrah (Doon Express), Malda town and Bhiwani (Farakka Express), Allahabad (Triveni and Nauchandi expresses), Puri (Neelachal Express), Jammu and Howrah (Himgiri Express), Kanpur (Intercity Express), Patna (superfast Shramjeevi), Varanasi (Kashi Vish-wanath) and Barauni (Vaishali).
Pre-paid auto-rickshaw service is available at the Charbagh Railway Station. The counter is located in the parking area just outside the main entry hall.

Kanpur is on the mainline broad gauge rail network between Calcutta and Delhi. It is connected by express and superfast trains. An excellent connection to Delhi is by the Shatabdi Express (four and a half-hour run). Other connections to Jaipur are from Bikaner, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Secunderabad and Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai. Trains originating from Jaipur link the city with Mumbai, Calcutta, Sawai Madhopur and Kota. The Jaipur Railway Station is in the heart of town and has computerised reserva¬tion facilities.

Mogli Water Park, Lucknow-Kanpur Highway, near Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary
The water park, is located about 4 km from Nawabganj and 45 km from Lucknow. It is based around three pools and a lake and provides a number of entertainments for the whole family. Which include 9 different types of rides and slides ranging in height from 8 feet to 30 feet, swimming, boating on the lake, a jogging track, camel rides, etc. More water games and entertainment are being added shortly. A restaurant and equipment store (for swimming costumes, etc) is some of the other facilities.
