Lucknow : Family Entertainment
The Prince of Wales Zoological Garden was founded in 1921. The Aish Mahal, within its premises, was used as a royal summer resort. It now houses a zoo, with gardens, ponds and a toy train. The craft shop serves snacks.
Boat Club
UPSTDC operates a boat club on the Gomti River that offers paddle row boats. There is a restaurant too for meal and snacks.
State Museum: In the zoo premises, I house a fascinating coin collection, an Egyptian mummy and the pistol used by the freedom fighter, Chandrashekhar Azad.

Mogli Water Park, Lucknow-Kanpur Highway, near Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary
The water park, is located about 4 km from Nawabganj and 45 km from Lucknow. It is based around three pools and a lake and provides a number of entertainments for the whole family. Which include 9 different types of rides and slides ranging in height from 8 feet to 30 feet, swimming, boating on the lake, a jogging track, camel rides, etc. More water games and entertainment are being added shortly. A restaurant and equipment store (for swimming costumes, etc) is some of the other facilities.
