Bangalore is connected to delhi by ra-jdhani express and karnataka express. It is also well connected with mumbai by udayan and kurla expresses daily, to chennai by shatabdi express, chennai mail, chennai express and brindavan ex¬press and also to thiruvananthapuram, kochi, calcutta, hyderabad and manga-lore by express trains. Pub crawling is a past-time in vogue with the younger set. The beer here is i among the best in the world, locally brewed, fresh and bubbly. Most pubs are over-crowded, heavy with smoke and drowned with loud music. The food here is the snacky, tandoori kind.
A few are sedate, sparsely patronised and have an old-world pub-like atmo- i sphere, like polo club and the royal derby. A pub lunch here is worth savouring.
